Solar panels on the roof of your home generate electricity, even on cloudy days. This electricity is measured in units and for each unit of electricity your system generates you will receive 43.3 pence via the government’s ‘Feed in Tariff’.

However, we like to think of this as a Generation Tariff, because it is paid on ALL the electricity you generate, whether you use it or not – and it’s tax free and index linked for 25 years!!

In addition, any electricity you don’t use can be sold back to your electricity supplier at 3.1 pence per unit.

With electricity currently averaging 12 pence per unit and further increases on the horizon, we think you’ll agree that this incentive is very generous indeed.

Here’s what Angela Bolton of Rothwell, one of SafeSolar’s customers has to say:

“We had a 3.9kW system installed on our property in March 2011 at a cost of £11,375. In the first three months of operation it generated 1550Kwh of electricity, and for each and every one of those units we got 43.3 pence, that’s £695 in my pocket, and we also got our electricity absolutely FREE.”

What’s the catch? Well there isn’t one. It is a government incentive to encourage home-owners to go green and go solar. What’s more, it’s guaranteed for 25 years!!

So don’t miss out, the current ‘Feed In’ rate of 43.3 pence per unit is guaranteed
until April 2012 after which
it will be reviewed by
the government.
